Since 1980, it has been building on students’ technical and scientific backgrounds and equipping them with the knowledge and competencies that allow them to focus their future career development on management and leadership roles. More than 2000 graduates have completed the study programme since 1980.

Key Features of the MAS MTEC Programme

  • Target group: Specialists and emerging leaders with at least 2 years of work experience;
  • Study duration: In general four semesters, on a part-time basis. However a study duration of 14-16 months is also possible. The maximum duration of study is 6 semesters;
  • Distinguished lecturers: Internationally renowned professors and lecturers from industry combine high academic standards with a strong practical orientation and a focus on technology management;
  • Programme structure: A wide range of elective courses allows you to tailor the programme to your needs and interests;
  • Skill-based Training: A specific course format with a strong emphasis on interaction and peer-to-peer learning helps you develope your communication, problem-solving and self-management skills;
  • MAS+ workshops and talks: An integrative student-alumni learning format facilitates knowledge transfer between D-MTEC and our alumni in industry;
  • Course abroad: An optional seminar abroad expands your professional skills and expertise, while offering an insightful perspective on the economic, social, and cultural world of the destination country;
  • Mentoring programme: Direct interaction with senior industry leaders through one-on-one coaching;
  • Lifelong partnership: We continue to support your career development through non-degree opportunities, seminars and networking events even after you have graduated from the programme;
  • Application deadline: 30 April for studies beginning in September.
