Programme Structure

The programme generally starts in the Autumn Semester (September).

Most of our students reduce their professional employment to 80% and complete the programme in 4 semesters, on a part-time basis. However, a study duration of 14-16 months is also possible. The maximum duration of study is 6 semesters.

The first three semesters of the programme consist of courses with an average of 12 contact hours per week. Classes usually take place between 8.00 and 20.00.

The 4th semester is mainly dedicated to completing the Master’s thesis, which can be written on a full-time (10 weeks) or part-time (16 weeks) basis.

The programme comprises a minimum of 60 credit points (CP) for completion of the degree (max. 65 CP):

48 CP (max. 53 CP) for lecture courses and 12 CP for the Master’s thesis.

Each credit point corresponds to an average workload of 20-25 hours.
